Custom Extension Spring Manufacturing

Measure the spring wire diameter, preferably do it on the end
Measure the outside diameter of the body. Take the average value in the middle area of the body (O.D.).
Measure the length of the extension spring. The body length does not include the hook/loop ends.
Measure the free length of the extension spring , which include both hook/loop ends.
Measure the length of the hook/loop.
If the outside diameter of the loop or hook is different from the body, measure it too.
If the gap is important for assembly, measure it. It is the distance from the end of the wire to the spring body.
